Instructor McClung served 20 years in the Infantry with the United States Marine Corps and then joined College Station Police Department (TX) in 2019. He is part of the College Station Tourism Entertainment Police Unit who is in charge of the north entertainment district. He is currently serving as his department’s Honor Guard Team Leader. He and his wife have three grown children and reside in College Station, Texas. He thrives in mentoring his public safety partners in how to properly honor the fallen and support their family.
Instructor McDaniel is a Firefighter/EMT with Fort Worth Fire Department (TX). She lives the mission as part of her department’s honor guard team to honor the fallen and support their family. She has been serving the United States Marines since 2016, is currently a Sergeant and serving as the Platoon Commander. She is the proud Mom of an energetic young boy.

Instructor Moore retired from Hanover Fire &EMS (VA) in 2023 after serving 20 years as a Firefighter/Paramedic. He was a proud member of the Honor Guard, Peer support team, and the Virginia Local Assistance State Team (LAST). Instructor Moore continues to serve as part of the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation command staff for the Honor Guard branch. Prior to his firefighter career, Instructor Moore proudly served his country in the United States Navy. After retirement, he and his wife relocated to Palm Harbor FL where every day is Saturday and look forward to spending time with their children and grandchildren.
Instructor Nolan comes to us from Enfield, CT where he is a Lieutenant with Enfield Police Department. He has served in various capacities with the department including: Field Training Officer, Community Police Officer, Firearms Instructor, Critical Incident Management Instructor, Public Information/Social Media Team member, and EPD Honor Guard commander. Previously he served on the Capitol Region Emergency Services Team (regional SWAT team) and was assigned as the Sergeant in charge of the North Central Regional Narcotics Task Force. He was also a firefighter/EMT with North Thompsonville Fire District (Enfield) for nearly 27 years, currently holding the rank of Captain and serving in a part-time paid capacity. He proudly served our country in the United States Air Force. Most importantly to him is his two children, Mackenzie and Blake whom he enjoys spending time and the occasional opportunity to be on the golf course.
Instructor Patterson currently lives in Georgia with his wife and three wonderful children. Jeff started his career in the fire service in 1989 working for departments in both Florida and Georgia during his career. Jeff retired after 28 years of service rising through the ranks before completing his career as a Special Operations Chief. Jeff continues his involvement with the fire service and public safety as an Instructor, member of an Incident Management Team, as well as a member of Urban Search and Rescue teams in both Florida and Georgia. Jeff’s experience with public safety honor guards began in 2004 and Jeff is very active with the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Service command staff. Jeff is a true humanitarian which is evident each time he encounters families of our fallen heroes. His compassion and dedication are apparent to every NHGA student he encounters.

Instructor Robles, a graduate of NHGA, was born in Tucson, AZ and raised in Odessa, TX and he and his family currently live in Plains, Texas. Upon graduating from High School, Bill enlisted in the USMC, serving honorably for four years. After leaving the Corps, he joined the Texas Dept. of Public Safety as a State Trooper. In 2010, he became a member of the TX DPS Honor Guard. 2011 was a big year for Bill as he was promoted to Sergeant and became the Assistant Commander of the Honor Guard. Instructor Robles’ passion and attention to detail is insurmountable. He strives to live and teach the words of Robert Cheeke; “Pay Close attention to detail in whatever it is you are doing. Be specific and expect quality from your performance.”
